Justice and Accountability for Survivors of David Carrick

We have begun some litigation on behalf of victim/survivors of Police Perpetrated Domestic Abuse (PPDA) and one of those cases is the representation of eight of the victim/survivors of serial sex offender and former Metropolitan Police officer, David Carrick. After his conviction in 2023 (for 85 offences including 48 rapes) the women he abused discovered via the media that the Met had been aware of numerous allegations against Carrick yet had recruited him and promoted him. This allowed him to rape and abuse women over a 17 year period.

We are not charging these women for our work on their case, but additional expenses such as expert psychological reports need to be funded so today we launched a CrowdJustice campaign on behalf of these women.

If you can afford to provide a donation to assist these women in bringing their case please donate here

Our clients say:

“We need to understand exactly who knew what and when, and what they ought to have done. We want to use the case to examine the system of vetting for police officers, scrutinise the policies and procedures around recruitment and suggest better ways forward. We want to bring this case to make sure no one else suffers what we have.”
