Centre for Women’s Justice is a legal charity focussed on strategic litigation. There are many other organisations in England and Wales who are able to provide the specialist support to survivors that CWJ cannot. Please find below a list of organisations able to help - this list is by no means exhaustive and there may be services more local to you.

Free helpline for anyone aged 16+ that has experienced rape, sexual assault, sexual abuse or any other type of sexual violence.

Local centres offer free, confidential support, counselling and advocacy services for victims and survivors.

 

Domestic Violence and Abuse

National Domestic Abuse Helpline

Emotional support and practical advice, information on accessing a refuge space and on contacting local domestic abuse support services.

Helpline open 24/7 but during some hours you may have to leave a message and wait for a call back. Live chat and BSL interpreter service also available online.

If your current or former partner has interfered with your money, financial situation or the things that money can buy in some way to limit your choices, this website has a range of resources and support to help.

 
 

Financial Support Line for Victims of Domestic Abuse

The Financial Support Line for Victims of Domestic Abuse is run by Money Advice Plus in partnership with Surviving Economic Abuse (SEA). It offers specialist advice to anyone experiencing domestic abuse who is in financial difficulty.

Stalking

National Stalking Helpline

Practical information, support, and advice to victims of stalking.

The Helpline is open 09:30 - 16:00 every weekday apart from Wednesdays.
On Wednesday's the Helpline is open from 09:30 - 20:00
The Helpline is not open on weekends or bank holidays.

 
 

Paladin - national stalking advocacy service

Assists high risk victims of stalking throughout England and Wales.

Also has a specialist service for young adults 16-24yrs

 

Intimate Image Abuse (Revenge Porn)

Revenge Porn Helpline

Support for adults who are experiencing intimate image abuse, also known as, revenge porn. Can assist with with reporting and removal of online images.

The helpline is open 10 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays.

 

Specialist Services for Black and Minoritised Women

 

Imkaan

UK-based, umbrella women's organisation dedicated to addressing violence against Black and Minoritised women and girls i.e. women which are defined in policy terms as Black and 'Minority Ethnic' (BME)

Imkaan is not a direct service provider, and is therefore not able to offer individual advice or support but they can provide information on local services run by and for Black and minoritised women
