The Award Ceremony

This year we will be hosting our annual dinner at the London Canal Museum, with fantastic food and entertainment, as well as the main event: awarding this year's winners and recognising the incredible work of all our nominees.

The evening will be hosted by outstanding journalist and writer Samira Ahmed. Doors open at 1830 with a drinks reception, followed by delicious food handmade by Syrian Sunflower's Majeda Khouri. Then raise a glass as we welcome Nehanda to the stage - Birmingham-born singer/songwriter, and a breath of fresh air in the music scene. We will also hear from Iranian-born activist and writer Maryam Namazie on the women's revolution in Iran.

We are excited to welcome all of our nominees and announce this year's winners of the Emma Humphreys Memorial Prize and the Centre for Women's Justice Award. Both prizes are worth £1000, but we also hope you will join us in showing our gratitude for the work these incredible women do. This year's nominees are:

It promises to be an evening of exceptional women and inspirational achievements, topped by delicious food and some seriously bolstering music! Don't miss out.
